Cambodia Now
During the month of November 2015 I spent 18 days in Siem Reap Cambodia and small villages to the north. My goal was to see the Apis dorsata (giant asian honeybee) and its diminutive cousin Apis florea (dwarf asian honeybee). What I found was a country struggling to find its identity. Cambodia is an extremely poor nation with little real infrastructure and yet its beauty, resilience, and slow march out of dark and violent past provides some hope for the future.
